It is a privilege to welcome you to BICC.

As a British curriculum school in the heart of Cairo, we believe every child deserves to be known, challenged and supported. Our aim is to help each student grow into a confident, curious and caring young person who is ready for any journey life takes them on.

Strong academic standards are a priority for us, and our British curriculum gives students a clear, internationally respected pathway from the early years through to IGCSEs and A-Levels. But great schools are built on more than results. They are built on trust and character. At BICC we work hard to build honest and respectful relationships between students, teachers and families, because we know that children learn best when they feel safe, valued and nurtured.

Character is shaped every day by high expectations of behaviour. Our approach to discipline is clear, fair and consistent, rooted in respect, responsibility and self-control, so that every child can learn and every child feels safe and seen.

Learning at BICC also extends well beyond the classroom. Through sports, students build teamwork, resilience and healthy habits. Through the arts and music, they discover creativity, express themselves and gain the confidence to perform. Through technology, they develop the digital skills and critical thinking they need to thrive in a changing world. We want every student to find something they love and to be proud of what they achieve. All this is possible through our committed teachers and staff who set high expectations, care deeply about every student’s wellbeing, and celebrate effort as much as achievement.
